Favourite summer look

Summer, you remember that right? I think we had about a week of it here in the UK. Anyway blessed with a tan from my holiday to Jamaica I attended the wedding, well vow renewal of some old friends.

I’d had my eye on a maxi dress for some time, just a matter of finding the right one. Then after spotting this beauty on twitter I had to get it from Simply Be

It was perfect, I mean look at it.

The prefect summer dress. Teamed with summer wedges and this gorgeous embroidered bag from New Look.

Wedding outfit complete

All about holding onto those last sunny days………. oh and burgers

Whoops

Again missed my Friday deadline. I’m usually so organised but my head is all of a muddle at the moment.

So this week what has occurred, a bit of the usual, work, nights out, nights in etc.

However some grown up stuff to, I currently let my flat out and have a tenant whose lease I have terminated. However they have refused to leave so now I have to issue a court order to get them out 😕

This is to grown up for me!

Then I accidentally reversed my car into another yesterday. What a dingbat. I haven’t had a car accident in forever then yesterday that!

Not all doom and gloom tho I did have a lovely Saturday get together with some lovely ladies, music, food and drink.

Not usually a cocktail drinker but when in Rome……

Hope you all had a good one.

Im planning a mid week post to make up for missing Friday

Laters

Makers market make me happy

In an effort to try new things and go to new places and generally live my life a bit more I set of last weekend so sunny Knutsford.
A friend had noticed the event advertised on good old Facebook via another friend and mentioned going, and I was all in.
The event is held almost every weekend at 4 different Cheshire / Manchester locations ( for locations and dates click here ), we opted for Knutsford as it was most convenient.
Now I don’t know if the sunny weather was to blame but I had a wonderful time. The street was closed of and decorated with bunting and all of manner decorated stalls.

After a couple of hours we headed home, not before stopping at Tabley House for afternoon tea and a look round the chapel

All in I had a brilliant day and will definitely be returning in future

Busy bank holiday days

So another long weekend has been and gone, my last one till Christmas (I am on holiday for our August one) and for a change I actually did something with it.
Usually I spend it trying to sort the house,  see past 5 years worth of bank holiday, but this was different. This one had good weather and actual real life plans.

For starters on Friday I decided to treat myself, something I have started to try and do a little more these days. I am usually running round trying to help other people I rarely help myself so once in a while I like to give myself a break
So pedicure and hair do were my first port of call

Then Saturday I took the puppy out for his first proper walk. I think it was an experience for us all! But I did manage to get him looking like a seasoned pro

Sunday was a sophisticated affair, afternoon tea to celebrate (early) a friends birthday. It was utterly delightful

And Monday I took puppy out again to a horse show with a friend and her son. He was in his element being petted and fussed, puppy not son.
The hoses were on top form to, shires to yearlings and even the odd donkey or 2.
A great day out

Back to the grind today, oh well real life beckons
