Aint no Mountain high enough

Bowser this month My Little Box really went for it this month, after being slightly disappointed last month i am blown away.

So what did we get

Socks – can never have to many right. these are little comfy socks, wear them round the house to keep the chill off. sticking reading cold feet on the back adds that cute little touch

img_5275

Lip balm – bright red, cute packaging and a lid that won’t jut pop off and leaving you with a balm covered in hair, fluff and whatever else you might have rolling round the bottom of your bag

Benefit Porefessional – this is a product I used to use all the time. I fell out of love with it line as a whole, but I still have a soft spot for this one. Its a great little primer and really does take some beating

Polar Icy Magic Eye Energiser – not heard of this product before but the note tells me that it helps to drain puffy eyes, erase dark circles and even boost eyelash growth. Will add it to my bag and try it out

other little extras in this months box included a pin badge, a little posit-it note pad in the shape of mountains and a chunky ski snood knit pattern!

Have you tried any of these products before?

if so what did you think?

My Little Box (in a bag?!)

So as previously mentioned I subscribe to 2 ‘subscription ‘ boxes Glossybox and My Little Box

I recently received my first of the year, so lets see what we have. This one is different from previously boxes as it’s not a box! It is in fact a cute little bag. This months theme is a Fresh Start, perfect for January. I love the idea of fresh starts, do overs, resolutions etc. This months contents were a mixed bag (loves a good pun also)

Contents of this months box are;
Timeless planner -this I love. I’m all about the stationary so expect to see more of this in future

Ultimate blends honey treasure- hair treatment which I am super excited to try. Anything to help mine grow and stay strong

Merci Handy berry cool toothpaste- now I usually need sensitive toothpaste but I’ll give it a go and see how it stacks up

My little box own hand cream and body lotions- I do love their own brand products but I seem to have a lot of these at the mo so a little same for me

Anyone else tried any of these before?

I spy with my……. Little Box

So I recently signed up to My Little Box after seeing an Instagram post put up by a friend. And so far I haven’t been disappointed.

So the premise is every month you receive a ‘little box’ filled with goodies. I’ve tried Birchbox in the past and although I enjoyed some of the samples there were usually a lot that I didn’t end up using.

In my first Little Box delivery I received, amongst other things a small batik bag and travel document holder which I used a lot on my  recent holiday (Previous blog here)

And this latest delivery didn’t disappoint

First up was a scarf, oh wait 2 scarves, one blue one black along with cute guide on different ways to wear, perfect since Autumn has well and truly arrived with a brrrrrr

The beauty samples this month included a red lip gloss stick, my favourite colour, BB creme which I can’t wait to try and a handy handbag sized hairspray, perfect for work bag and evening clutch.

And to get in you the mood for that night disco dancing there’s some nail decals, I’ve never tried them before but definitely going to give these a go and a bottle of Cointreau with handy drink guide!

So now I’m of to try my scarf tying skills and maybe a cheeky Cointreau cocktail
